Thank you for supporting our Christmas Bazaar that was on the 29th November. We raised a fantastic £2814.The Armistice Day remembrance was held in the square on the 11th day of the 11th month at the 11th hour. Traffic stopped in the village as we commemorated the end of World War 1,ninety years ago. We were joined on this occasion by the children of Ticehurst and Flimwell school. Many children laid their own, hand made, poppy and cross down on the grass at the memorial with prayers they had written on the back of their poppy.

If you have not yet volunteered and would like to join then please come along. (letter as in News & Views December issue).
