Church Mission Society (CMS)

 
Our parishes have had links with Church Mission Society (CMS) Mission Partners in Sri Lanka, Kenya and Uganda. 

We have a new connection (as of 2010) that is now being established with Paul and Christine Salaman and their children, Daniel (6) and Isaac (4), who are from Cornwall and are now in Dodoma, Tanzania.  This family are now our mission partners. Mission partners stay in contact with our parish, visit our parish and the parishes support the mission family by prayer and financial support to the CMS.

Paul is teaching at St John's University, where his courses include Laboratory  Physics, Science Teaching Methods and educational Media and Technology, while Christine is a Youth Development Officer at the Anglican Church Head Offices.  Their blog (blog: diary on the internet) is at: http://salamans.blogspot.com. Prior to 2010 the Crichton family, were supported by our parishes who were in Uganda for the last four years.
